The lecture's purpose was to provide insight into one of the most debated aspects of paranormal research. Whether you’re a seasoned investigator, a curious enthusiast, or someone seeking guidance from a psychic or medium, the presentation hits the basics on how to separate genuine ability from misleading claims. At a high level, I covered:

• What to look for when selecting a psychic or medium 
• How to critically evaluate readings and paranormal claims 
• The difference between intuition, cold reading, and authentic phenomena 
• How to protect yourself from scams and misinformation 

The lecture is a condensed version of some of what's covered in my course "A Practical Guide to Psychics and Mediums" offered by the Rhine Education Center every so often. The 4-week online course is being offered this May (2026). Lectures can be attended live (Thursday evenings) or watched on replay as of the next day.
