Below are websites of parapsychological and related websites I recommend for learning more about Parapsychology, Psychical Research, and the topics studied. After the websites, you’ll find a couple of recommended blogs, YouTube channels, and links to publication archives. This page provides annotated links to papers/research in many areas of parapsychological work. All links take you to free resources.

 

Parapsychological Association: www.parapsych.org 

            This is the official organization of researchers and academics involved in the field of Parapsychology. There are several levels of membership to allow students, those who are not directly working in the field, and members of the general public to join. Note: in the Publications drop down, take a look at the Mindfields offering, a publication with wider appeal than a journal.

 

The Rhine Research Center: www.rhine.org / www.rhineonline.org and Rhine Education Center (www.rhineedu.org

            The Rhine is the legacy organization of the original Duke University Parapsychology Lab, founded in 1935. It’s a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and absolutely worthy of joining as a member.

            The Rhine has a huge media library – videos of lectures by researchers, psychics, and others presented over the last few years. There are a few that are free, but you are encouraged to join, not only to gain access to the media library and get discounts on webcasts of new lectures and discounts on classes and other things but mainly to help support the work of the Rhine. 

The Rhine Education Center (www.rhineedu.org ) offers online courses throughout the year (Loyd Auerbach is one of the main instructors).

            The Rhine publishes the Journal of Parapsychology.

 

The Society for Psychical Research: www.spr.ac.uk  

            The SPR is the oldest continuing psychical research/ parapsychology organization. Lots of good info here for free, especially the Psi Encyclopedia (https://psi-encyclopedia.spr.ac.uk/ ) – an ever-growing resource on psychic abilities and research. The SPR publishes a journal (Journal of the Society for Psychical Research) and magazine (The Magazine) for general readers.

 

Parapsychology Foundation (www.parapsychology.org

PF Publications’ free archive: https://parapsychology.org/parapsychology-foundation-publications/

The Parapsychology Foundation is a decades old not-for-profit organization with an educational perspective, supporting the scientific investigation of psychic phenomena. Over the years they have published pamphlets, monographs, and proceedings of international conferences (as well as links to the individual papers from those conferences), which you can find on the webpage above for free reading and/or download.


The Laboratories for Fundamental Research: www.lfr.org 

            Run by Dr. Ed May, physicist and former director of the US Government’s Star Gate program, LFR provides exceptional background on past and current research in Remote Viewing, Precognition, and more.

 

The Institute of Noetic Sciences: www.ions.org 

            Consciousness Research, Psi Research, Altered States, and more are covered by this forward-thinking organization co-founded by Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell.

 

Division of Perceptual Studies,  University of Virginia (formerly the Division of Personality Studies): www.med.virginia.edu/perceptual-studies/ 

            DOPS was started by the late Ian Stevenson in the 1960s and has set the bar for exceptional research focused on children who remember previous lives. DOPS has also been researching near death experiences, apparitions, and much more. Lots of links to publications and research on the site.

 

The Koestler Parapsychology Unit – University of Edinburgh: https://koestlerunit.wordpress.com/ 

            Established in 1985, the KPU is based in the Psychology Department at the University of Edinburgh and focuses on teaching and researching parapsychology. The 

Koestler Unit offers an online course with an overview of Parapsychology.

 

Society for Scientific Exploration: www.scientificexploration.org/ 

            Started in 1982, the SSE has provided a critical forum for sharing original research into conventional and unconventional topics, including psi, UFOs, cryptozoology, alternative healing, cosmology, and more. Publishes a Journal and magazine (EdgeScience) – see below.

 

The Windbridge Research Center: www.windbridge.org 

            For some of the best controlled research with psychic practitioners – in this case, evidential spirit mediums – visit Windbridge. Lots of links to published research and other papers and information.

  

The Forever Family Foundation: www.foreverfamilyfoundation.org 

            Free to join, this 501(c)(3) non-profit all-volunteer organization supports the work of evidential mediums in the family grieving process and supports scientific research into experiences suggestive or supportive of the concept of Survival of Consciousness (and Loyd Auerbach is the President). The FFF currently hosts 4 Grief Transformation Retreats per year (Connecticut, Florida, and California).

 

International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA): https://www.irva.org/index.html 

IRVA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the responsible use and development of remote viewing. IRVA is an independently formed member organization of scientists, remote viewing 

professionals, students, and other interested persons.

            Looking for historical and modern articles on the phenomena related to life after death? Research on Survival of Bodily Death? This is a great site for that.

 

The Global Consciousness Project: http://noosphere.princeton.edu/ 

            “The Global Consciousness Project is an international, multidisciplinary collaboration of scientists and engineers. We collect data continuously from a global network of physical random number generators located in up to 70 host sites around the world at any given time.”

 

The Psychical Research Foundation: https://www.psychicalresearchfoundation.com/ 

            Established in 1961, and most closely tied to the work of the late William G. Roll for many years (Bryan Williams is current Research Director), the PRF site provides free downloads of past papers and other materials, as well as information about current research.

 

The International Association for Near Death Studies (IANDS): https://iands.org/ 

            IANDS focuses most of its resources into providing the highest quality information available about NDE-related subjects. It is the only such membership group in the world. IANDS publishes a peer-reviewed journal, a member magazine, and hosts conferences and other programs devoted to NDEs.

 

Australian Institute of Parapsychological Research: https://www.aiprinc.org/ 

            This organization was founded in 1977 and provides information on parapsychology and psychic phenomena/experiences. AIPR publishes a peer-reviewed journal, the Australian Journal of Parapsychology and a newsletter for journal subscribers.

            Visit this page to learn about Marcello Truzzi, Sociologist and true skeptic, and an early member of the Psychic Entertainers Association. The site provides articles about and by Truzzi, as well as downloadable issues of the Zetetic Scholar and The Zetetic publications which he edited.

 

Macro-PK/Poltergeists Collaborative Project & Database: https://www.macropk.org/

This site follows an important research on phenomena associated with physical events that are observed in the presence of people and/or in particular places and are not explained by our current theories and which are in the field of what is commonly called Macro-Psychokinesis (Macro-PK).
