The World of the Paranormal is extremely popular these days. Even skeptics are fascinated by presentations of “psychic phenomena” — though they hardly believe.

Professor Paranormal (Loyd Auerbach) is able to deliver top-level entertainment with a paranormal/psychic theme, all the while never taking himself — or his subject — too seriously.

He engages, enthralls, and entertains his audience with demonstrations of what appear to be genuine psychic abilities. AND he gets the audience laughing — all without making fun of or embarrassing any of his participants. 

 He’ll read the thoughts and body language of audience members, make predictions of items freely chosen by spectators, influence actions of helpers, move objects with his bare mind, show members of the audience how they are psychic as well, and perhaps contact a few spirits (or at the very least leave the audience in good spirits). He’ll show you how those crazy tabloids likely came up with their even crazier headlines, and predict a headline an audience member creates from random word-cards.

And there’s his mind-reading mutant psychic pet! 

The Professor’s routines always involve the audience, and not just the helpers he brings to the front of the room. After all, without participation, he’d just be reading his own mind (and that wouldn’t be too terribly exciting, now would it?).

This show can be adapted for just about any size group from the intimate dinner party to larger-scale corporate and college events and audiences of almost all ages (adults and teens).  In general, the typical show runs an hour, but timing is up to you, longer or shorter.

The Professor is based in Martinez, California, and mainly works in the greater San Francisco Bay Area (from San Jose to Sacramento ), northern California, but is happy to go further (he’s often performed in Santa Cruz, Monterey, the Gold Country, even the Los Angeles Area)!

He has performed and lectured for colleges and corporations across the US, for Ghost/Paranormal Conferences in several states, and continues to travel all around the country. 

Loyd will work with you to make sure your Professor Paranormal experience suits your audience, venue, and time requirements. He can usually tailor something special if your event has a theme or purpose to tie in. 

His fees are reasonable, and generally based on the type and length of performance, somewhat on the size of the audience, the venue, and to some extent the location and travel (mainly whether beyond the greater Bay Area or not). 

As Loyd Auerbach is a world-recognized authority and author on the Paranormal, psychic phenomena, and Parapsychology, many of your guests will be fascinated by his background, and — if they’re like his other audiences — will try to corner him after the show with questions about the paranormal and their own psychic experiences. His media experiences number in the thousands, including numerous national TV shows, episodes of streaming series, and interviews on radio, podcasts, and in print.

PROFESSOR PARANORMAL'S PSYCHIC MIND THEATER

This is the Professor’s show for Groups of 10 to hundreds of people. It's typically an hour of fascinating psychic entertainment, featuring mind-reading, predictions, and more than a little laughter. 

He can tailor the performance to specific requirements, including splitting up the performance to work around the schedule of the party/event to allow for speakers, toasts, or even other performers (often putting him in the role of Emcee). 

While the basic show runs approximately an hour, the Professor has often been requested to do a shorter show as part of a larger group of entertainers/speakers, and even a longer (90-minute show) for specific audiences.

Additionally, for smaller groups, usually dinner parties or smaller gatherings (usually 6 to 20 people), he will bring the audience in closer, even performing at the dinner table.

PROFESSOR PARANORMAL DOES READINGS, TOO!

Sometimes, what clients want is a card reader, a fortune-teller to do individual readings for attendees at a party, reception, or company/corporate event.

Professor Paranormal provides individual card readings, most typically with PsyCards (same idea as, but very different from, Tarot cards), and other oracle cards (some more humorous than others). 

As Loyd Auerbach he holds a certificate as a professional chocolatier. He has created his own set of symbols, which he produces on specially crafted gourmet chocolate. The Cocoa Oracle Fortune Chocolates are used for unique readings, which can be done on their own or in conjunction with card readings. The solid chocolate pieces can be somewhat tailored to tastes (dark vs. milk chocolate; select flavors).

The fee structure for readings at events is typically based on the time (how many hours).

Given his 45+ years of investigating cases of apparitions, hauntings, poltergeists, and other psychic phenomena, Professor Paranormal often is asked for a storytelling session, telling the tales of some of his more exciting and interesting investigations. These are not scary stories -- though many find them unnerving or creepy, and are even suitable for the faint of heart.
